It’s been a little over a week since the DPR Regime Tour took place in Houston but the rollercoaster of emotions is still here! Picture this. DPR LIVE performing next to an enormous astronaut, a giant hand stealing DPR IAN from the audience, enormous black wings opening across the stage, snow appearing in Houston and rainbow lights embracing the whole DPR crew. Sounds crazy? Impossible even? Well not for the DPR crew!

WHO IS DPR?

DPR, also known as Dream Perfect Regime, is a “multi-genre music and video group” who create, direct, produce and edit all the projects they put out. The team is based in Seoul, Korea and their main focus is to engage all audiences by providing them with a unique audiovisual experience. In other words, they can do it all. And they are very good at it.

WHAT IS THE DPR REGIME WORLD TOUR?

As we speak, the DPR Team is actively touring the globe. The DPR Regime Tour is DPR’s second ever world tour with stops in America, UK/Europe and Asia-Pacific. From early on, the team was met with high numbers of fans to the point they had to create additional stops and upgrade multiple venues. The tour officially kicked off on September 8, 2022 in Charlotte, NC and is expected to conclude on December 17, 2022 in Sydney. 

* The DPR team performed in Houston, TX on October 26 which marked the crew’s final stop in America.

DPR CREAM

The honor of opening the show was taken by none other than DPR Cream! And let’s just say it was the best decision ever. DPR Cream’s energy was projected across the entire venue and was met with deafening screams from fans! The sick beats along with the hyped crowd made our anticipation levels rise through the roof!

DPR LIVE

Dabin (DPR LIVE) took his iconic catchphrase “coming to you live” to a whole new level! His set opened with a massive astronaut behind him and was followed by an incredible show of lights. Throughout his set, DPR LIVE gifted fans with multiple interactions and even gave some roses and pool floats to the energetic crowd of Dreamers!

And when you think DPR LIVE can’t take it a step farther … he does exactly that! For his ‘Yellow Cab’ performance, front line VIP fans were gifted pink wigs and became DPR Live’s Lucy for the night!

As DPR Live’s set was coming to an end the confetti on the stage had to be cleaned out. This was done by none other than our last performer of the night. You guessed it … it was DPR IAN!

DPR IAN

Let’s just say that if art was a person, they would be called Christian Yu (DPR IAN). If you are a DPR fan, you know that even though the team is a harmonious one, the music each member creates is unique to who they are as individuals. Throughout DPR IAN’s performance, the stage which was once full of colorful blinding lights turned into one dominated by darkness and minimalistic glimpses of light. And while DPR IAN’s performance was crafted around him being in the middle of the stage, he surely dominated the entire venue with his theatrical performance. We are also incredibly thankful for the words of wisdom he gifted dreamers.

DPR REM  

You are a lucky fan if you get to catch a glimpse of DPR REM on stage as it doesn’t happen often. In fact, he only stepped up during the closing stage. This is because DPR REM isn’t much of a performer but Dreamers are always happy to see him on stage. In fact, this tour would not have been possible with out REM. REM is the mastermind behind everything the DPR Team does and let’s just say he outdid himself!

TIPS FOR FANS

The DPR Team always goes all out with whatever artistic thing they decide to put out and this tour is no exception. The best way to describe this concert is an emotional two hours long rollercoaster. This is why Dreamers always try their hardest to see the team when they perform. And it is because of this that we would like to take this opportunity to remind fans of any concert to please stay take care of themselves. And please stay hydrated. Unfortunately, during the Houston stop, the show had to be stopped on multiple instances as some attendees were in urgent need of water and some even fainted. So please Dreamers, let’s stay safe!
